G started experiencing shoes with Antonio Berardi, who introduced him into a world of creativity where there were no limits or boundaries. Designing hand made shoes, G grew to learn how to create beauty through this small object, beauty that was challenging given the necessity to balance proportions.
Leading the shoe design department at Salvatore Ferragamo, he learned how to manage the creation of an important collection bringing some freshness and modernity into a classic product.
Dedicating the last ten years to shoes and leather goods, G has worked for many labels including Sergio Rossi, Kenzo, Iceberg, Gianvito Rossi and Christian Dior.
However, his three years at Alexander Mc Queen setting up shoes and leather good collections worthy of the Mc Queen name, have been the most challenging and rewarding. The experience acquired over the years and the knowledge of attention to details, have enabled him to design a range of very special objects one could view as art.
